GLP Lecture Series

The GLP Lecture Series is comprised of academic events organized by students of the course, "Planning and Implementation," one of the GLP core courses.

At the start of the semester, students decide on a theme that interests them. With the instructor's guidance, they read academic literature on their theme, decide on the format of their event, and invite guest lecturers and participants. They also craft the posters, reserve venues, and write press releases and reports of their event.

The GLP Lecture Series began in 2016 as "Japanese Studies in English Lecture Series." Initially, the instructor spearheaded the organization of events. Beginning 2017, students took over the planning and implementation with the instructor serving only as guide.
