Core courses must be taken by all GLP students. Moreover, except for Planning and Implementation, these are limited to GLP students.
- 1. GLP Seminar I (4 units, yearlong)
- 2. GLP Seminar IIA (2 units, Spring-Summer Term)
- 3. GLP Seminar IIB (2 units, Autumn-Winter Term)
- 4. Planning and Implementation (2 units, Spring-Summer or Autumn-Winter)
Other courses within the Faculty of Social Sciences and in other schools in Hitotsubashi University may be credited as GLP courses. Kindly study the "Undergraduate Program Guidebook" (学士課程ガイドブック) carefully in light of the list below.
- - E plus One courses in the Faculty of Social Sciences*
- * Courses taught in English and courses wherein original texts are read in languages other than Japanese.
- - GLP designated courses in other Faculties
- - International Exchange modules (marked as "CGE" and/or "★")
- - Language courses at the Intermediate or Advanced levels
- - Credits earned during studying abroad and approved by Hitotsubashi University
After years of hiatus due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, GLP short-term study trip resumes in January 2025. The study trip will be in Manila, for only 7 days in mid-January. It is open to all GLP students, though priority will be given to sophomores in GLP Seminar I.
Prior to the trip, student participants will use two meetings of their GLP Seminar I to prepare and to familiarize themselves with the destination.
Plane fare and accommodation will be partially subsidized by the university.

GLP is not in charge of long-term study abroad applications. Kindly see the linked contact list (here) or attend the 留学フェア usually in April and September.
