What is GLP?
Global Leaders Program (GLP) is a university-wide program that aims to foster global leaders with the ability to:
❖ construct theories based on real-world observation
❖ communicate in a foreign language fluently
❖ innovate and reform Japanese and global systems
❖ lead and set global rules through logical reasoning & negotiations
❖ propose policy recommendations to solve global issues
❖ set agendas
What is GLP Social Sciences?
It is a certificate program for 12 undergraduate students of the Faculty of Social Sciences with outstanding academic record and interested in exposure to global environments

Completion Requirements
1. Complete 36 credits of GLP, including the GLP core courses

2. Study abroad for four months or more
Exceptions: international students in Japan, students who had already lived overseas for long periods of time. Global travel restrictions such as the recent pandemic may also be a consideration.
3. Complete other requirements to graduate from Faculty of Social Sciences Hitotsubashi University
